Description:-
Erect branching herbs, up to 1 m high; stems quadrangular, furrowe. Leaves variable , 6-15 cm Long, 3-10 cm broad; petioles 1-3 mm long. Corolla usually white, sometimes pale pinkish violet, often spotted yellow within and with a yellow blotch on lower lip, 2.5-3.5 cm long.Capsule erect , 15-28 mm Long, 5-7, mm broad , densely villous – pubescent. Seeds about 2 mm long ,pale yellow, brown, or black.
Grows in- Sri Lanka, Africa and India. It is widely naturalized in tropical regions of the world.
